Which Prop Firms Allow Copy Trading?
Futures and forex prop firms compared on copying between your own accounts, third-party trade copiers, bots and copying across firms. Every rule is quoted and linked to the firm’s own page.
Short answer, checked Oct 27, 2026
Alpha Futures, Blue Guardian Futures, FundedNext Futures, Lucid, MFFU, Tradeify, AquaFunded and Audacity Capital allow copying trades between your own accounts. Statuses: Allowed · Allowed, with limits · Restricted · Not allowed · Not stated. “Not stated” means we couldn't find the rule on the firm's own pages. Copygram isn't affiliated with any firm listed. This is not legal or financial advice.
How we check the rules
- Official pages only. Every status comes from the firm's own website, help center or terms, never from reviews or affiliate sites. Our editorial standards cover the full method.
- Quoted and linked. Each rule below has a short quote of the firm's wording and a link to the page it comes from.
- Dated. Every firm shows the day we last checked it. Firms change rules often, especially on automation and multiple accounts.
- Open data. The CSV has the same rows, summaries and sources, free to reuse with a link back.
Each firm's rules, in its own words
Alpha Futures Copying between your accounts: allowed
- Copying between your own accounts Allowed
-
Copy trading is permitted if a single user, the individual named on the Alpha Futures accounts, executes the trades. Automated, group and reverse trading are strictly prohibited. Alpha recommends the smallest or lowest-profit account as leader and accepts no liability for copier problems.
“Copy trading in general is permitted as long as it is a single user”
Source: Copy Trading
- Third-party trade copiers Not stated
-
The copy-trading article mentions built-in platform copiers and disclaims liability for 'trade copying software' in general, but never explicitly allows or bans third-party copiers. VPS use is permitted; VPNs that hide your IP are not.
“Many platforms have built in trade copiers.”
Source: help.alpha-futures.com
- Bots and automated trading Not allowed
-
AI, bots and other automated trading are strictly prohibited on all account types, as is any hands-off or continuous full automation. Semi-automation is allowed, for example an indicator giving signals while the trader places and manages trades manually. Strategies with more than 100 trades a day are unwelcome.
“automated trading mechanisms is strictly prohibited across all account types”

- Copying to or from other firms Not stated
-
'Group trading', meaning collaborating with others on identical or opposite strategies across unconnected accounts, is prohibited. Copying your own trades to accounts at other firms is not addressed.

- Opposite positions across accounts Not allowed
-
Reverse trading or hedging (short on one account, long on another) is strictly prohibited in the Evaluation and Qualified phases. Opposite mini/micro positions in the same account (for example long NQ, short MNQ) are also banned.

Qualified account caps: Zero 5, Direct 5, Standard 5 (Standard accounts from before 2026-07-27 are capped at 3), Advanced 3. Holding any active Advanced Qualified account limits the trader to 3. Only one username per individual and one individual per household. No numeric evaluation cap is stated, but 'account stacking' with excessive evaluations is prohibited.

Apex Trader Funding Copying between your accounts: allowed, with limits
- Copying between your own accounts Allowed, with limits
-
Copying between your own Performance Accounts (personal and business user accounts) is allowed, as long as all accounts trade the same direction and the 20-PA cap is respected. Tradovate Group Trade is enabled automatically for users with more than one Tradovate account, and WealthCharts has a built-in copier. The Live program FAQ says group trading is not permitted on live accounts.
“Copy trading across PA accounts under your personal name and business name is allowed.”
- Third-party trade copiers Allowed
-
No Apex page bans a trader's own third-party copier outright. The legacy PA compliance page says the trader is solely responsible for results from trade copiers or external programs, and Apex encourages submitting software for approval before use. The same page bars PA and Live accounts from being managed by copy-trading services or trade-mirroring software run by another party.

- Bots and automated trading Not allowed
-
Automation and algorithms are banned. The legacy compliance page names AI, autobots, algorithms, fully automated systems, HFT and set-and-forget trading, and says the ban covers all account types. The Live program FAQ repeats that automation is not allowed. ATM bracket orders, which automate stops and targets, are explicitly encouraged.

Trade copying with other traders is forbidden. Copying to or from accounts at other prop firms is not addressed. Apex's Tradovate FAQ says the Apex trade copier, when connected through NinjaTrader, can trade Tradovate, Rithmic and personal broker accounts at the same time.

Blue Guardian Futures Copying between your accounts: allowed
- Copying between your own accounts Allowed
-
Copy trading is allowed, including with third-party copier software, as long as every copied trade is between accounts legally owned by the same trader. Copying trades from other traders, signal providers or trade groups is prohibited. Letting a third party manage or execute trades for you is not allowed either.

Third-party copier software is explicitly allowed. The same condition applies: all copied trades must stay between accounts the trader legally owns.

- Bots and automated trading Not allowed
-
AI, bots and other fully automated trading are strictly prohibited on all account types. Semi-automated trading is allowed only if the trader actively monitors and manually manages trades. Automated ultra-high-frequency scalping systems, particularly those above 200 trades per day, are also limited. A rules table on the futures landing page shows 'Expert Advisors: Yes' for an Instant 100K plan, which conflicts with the help center.

BluSky Trading Company Copying between your accounts: allowed, with limits
- Copying between your own accounts Allowed, with limits
-
BluSky's account table marks a trade copier as allowed on every Evaluation, Sim Funded, Direct 2 Funded and Live Brokerage account. You cannot go long in one account and short in another under your user ID, and traders in the same household must control their own accounts and trade on different machines. The separate conduct policy lists copying trades from another trader, account or signal provider as forbidden, without saying how that fits with the table.

- Third-party trade copiers Not stated
-
The account table says a trade copier is allowed on all account types, but it doesn't name or limit which copiers. BluSky's pages don't say whether third-party copier software is allowed or only platform tools. The help center documents copy trading on the Volumetrica Web platform.

BluSky's pages don't say whether bots or algorithmic strategies are allowed. The conduct policy forbids using automated software (AI, ultra-high speed, bulk data entry) to unfairly influence outcomes, as part of coordinated manipulation. Opposite or correlated positions across separate accounts are banned, for example long NQ in one account and short NQ in another, or long ES against short NQ. The rule covers all user and same-household accounts, and applies even if the accounts belong to different people or sit at different prop firms. Opposite mini and micro positions in the same account are listed as allowed. A first offense can bring a warning and closure of the involved accounts; repeat offenses can mean a permanent ban.

ETF documents Tradovate's Group Trading for copying trades from a master account to follower accounts. Only trade copiers on ETF's approved list may be used across multiple accounts; any other copier breaks the rules. Trading for another user, in the same household or remotely, is strictly prohibited.
“Only trade copiers on ETF's approved list can be used.”
Source: Tradovate's Group Trading
- Third-party trade copiers Restricted
-
Only approved copiers may be used: Tradesyncer, Tradecopia, Affordable Indicators (Duplicate Account Actions), Replikanto Flowbot (PropFirm Compliance Edition only) and copiers built into the trading platform, such as Tradovate group trading, MotiveWave and Quantower. Using an unapproved copier can reset the account and forfeit profits. Repeat violations lead to account failure and a permanent ban.
“The only automated trading tools currently authorized are the approved trade copiers listed above.”
- Bots and automated trading Restricted
-
AI tools, bots, EAs and algos are not authorized unless ETF gives written authorization, and the Terms of Service apply the same rule to automated trading systems. Enforcement currently happens at the reward stage, when sessions are reviewed. Detected use can reset the account and forfeit profits, and repeat violations lead to a permanent ban.
“AI, bots, EAs, and algos additionally require ETF's written authorization before use.”
- Copying to or from other firms Not stated
-
ETF's pages don't address copying your own trades to or from accounts at other firms. The Terms of Service ban letting any third party manage or execute trades and coordinating with other Traders. Trade copiers need ETF's written authorization unless they are on the approved list.

Funded Futures Network Copying between your accounts: allowed, with limits
- Copying between your own accounts Allowed, with limits
-
You can copy your own accounts, but no more than 5 FFN accounts at once, across all phases including evaluations. Any trade entered or exited at the same time, on the same product and direction, counts as copied. Exceeding 5 makes all copied accounts ineligible for funding and forces a reset, and running two copiers of 5 accounts each on similar products gets accounts liquidated.
“You may copy-trade a maximum of 5 FFN accounts simultaneously, regardless of account type.”
- Third-party trade copiers Not stated

FFN's own platforms (Onyx, FundX) include copiers. Third-party copier software for your own accounts is neither explicitly approved nor banned. However, FFN prohibits granting account access to any automated system or API controlled by a third party, and bans VPS environments managed by a third party, which may affect hosted copiers.

- Copying between your own accounts Allowed, with limits
-
Copying between accounts held under your own verified profile is allowed. The help center allows copy-trading software between your own Pro accounts. The homepage FAQ describes own-account copying as manual and says copy software between Instant Funding accounts is not allowed. Copying other traders or sharing signals is a hard breach.

- Third-party trade copiers Allowed, with limits

Copy-trading software is allowed between your own Pro accounts and from your own outside accounts into a Pro account; no specific tool is named or required. The homepage FAQ says copy software between Instant Funding accounts is not allowed. VPNs, VPSs and proxies are allowed but may trigger verification, and multiple accounts on the same or related IPs, including at other prop firms, may be flagged. The Terms separately bar EAs, scripts or robots without a Risk Team exception.

-
The Terms allow EAs and bots only for risk management, and otherwise only with a Risk Team exception. The help center also allows trade-placing EAs the trader programmed personally, including AI-assisted code the trader fully understands, and asks traders to check with support first. Off-the-shelf, grid, hedge, martingale and arbitrage bots are banned, as is HFT (trades of 15 seconds or less).

The help center allows copy-trading software to copy trades from your own accounts at other brokers or firms into a Funding Traders Pro account. Copying out of Funding Traders to other firms isn't addressed. The IP policy warns that trading multiple accounts tied to the same IP, including at other prop firms, may be treated as a security violation.

- Opposite positions across accounts Not allowed
-
Reverse trading, meaning directly opposite trades across multiple accounts under your name or someone else's, is prohibited as a toxic strategy. The Terms treat hedging and cross-account coordination as hard breaches that can end an account immediately, and ban opposite positions between connected accounts. Hedge EAs and bots are banned too.

FundingPips Copying between your accounts: allowed, with limits
- Copying between your own accounts Allowed, with limits
-
You may copy between your own FundingPips accounts registered under the same individual, within the shared $400K max allocation. You may not copy between accounts of different users or coordinate across master accounts you don't own. FundingPips also has its own built-in Trade Copier (beta, MT5/cTrader/Match-Trader, up to 4 accounts per user), where only a FundingPips account can be the Lead.
“Copying trades between your own FundingPips accounts registered under the same individual.”
- Third-party trade copiers Restricted
-
A third-party trade copier is allowed only with the FundingPips account as master, connected with the read-only investor password; using the main password may trigger an investigation. Copier services that make a FundingPips account the follower are prohibited. The 1K Instant Account explicitly permits third-party EAs and trade copiers.

- Bots and automated trading Allowed, with limits
-
Third-party EAs are allowed only as trade or risk managers; using one to fully automate trading gets the evaluation or reward denied and the account closed. Your own EA may fully automate if you can prove you own it (a compiled file alone isn't proof). Banned: HFT, server spamming, latency arbitrage, tick scalping, server execution exploits and toxic flow. The 1K Instant allows third-party EAs; the Monthly Competition bans all EAs.

Outbound only. A FundingPips account may be the master copying to an external account at another broker or prop firm, and the built-in copier accepts external followers. Copying into a FundingPips account from any outside source (signal providers, or copier services with FundingPips as the slave) is prohibited. FundingPips treats inbound copying as third-party account management and terminates the account.

FXIFY Copying between your accounts: allowed, with limits
- Copying between your own accounts Allowed, with limits

You can copy trades between your own FXIFY accounts. Copy trading isn't allowed on Instant Funding, Instant Funding LITE or the Lightning Plan. A 2 Phase PRO account may only be the master account, not a receiver. Copying from a third party violates FXIFY's terms.

Copytraders are banned on Instant Funded accounts. FXIFY checks for multiple accounts on the same IP address, and several users on the same device ID (CID) can raise account-management concerns.

Goat Funded Trader Copying between your accounts: restricted
- Copying between your own accounts Restricted
-
From October 12, 2026, you may copy between your own Goat Funded Trader accounts only through the GOAT Trade Copier in the Trader Dashboard. It copies in any direction between evaluation and funded accounts and across MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader and TradeLocker. It costs $2 per connected account per month, card only, and each account's own rules still apply. Copying other traders, signal providers or trading groups is a prohibited practice.

- Third-party trade copiers Not allowed
-
From October 12, 2026, any trade copier, copy-trading tool or copier EA other than the GOAT Trade Copier is a prohibited practice and may end the account, even if you have already paid for it. From October 6, 2026, VPNs, VPSs, proxies and remote or hosted environments are banned during trading, and any other copier running on a VPS or hosted environment is prohibited. The built-in copier runs in the cloud and is exempt from that rule.

EAs are allowed only if you developed them yourself, and the firm may ask for proof such as the source code. Third-party, purchased, shared and challenge-passing EAs are banned, as are HFT systems, Gold Arbitrage EAs and trade-copier EAs. Because VPSs are banned from October 6, 2026, an EA that needs a VPS can't be used. Using an EA in evaluation and trading manually once funded, or the reverse, is also a prohibited practice.

Hola Prime Copying between your accounts: allowed, with limits

On CFD Prime, copy trading is allowed only between accounts you own (effective 2 June 2025). Shared or mirrored trading between different people, or copying signals from an account that isn't yours, is treated as a breach. The CFD Instant rules list copy trading as allowed with limits and repeat the same ban. A separate device and IP policy says you may not access multiple accounts from the same IP address or network.

Prop firm copy trading questions
Which prop firms allow copy trading?
Alpha Futures, Blue Guardian Futures, FundedNext Futures, Lucid, MFFU, Tradeify, AquaFunded and Audacity Capital allow copying trades between your own accounts. Apex, BluSky, Bulenox, Elite Trader Funding, FFN, TPT, Top One Futures, Topstep, TradeDay, Alpha Capital, Atlas Funded, Blue Guardian, Blueberry Funded, BrightFunded, E8 Markets, Fintokei, FTMO, FT+, FundedNext, FunderPro, Funding Traders, FundingPips, FXIFY, Goat Funded Trader, Hola Prime, Maven, Trading Pit, The5ers and Top One Trader allow it with limits. Earn2Trade doesn't allow it. However, Elite Trader Funding, TPT, Topstep, FundingPips and FXIFY restrict which copier you can use, and Bulenox, Earn2Trade, FundedNext, Goat Funded Trader, Maven and Top One Trader don't allow third-party copiers. The table shows each firm's rule with a link to the page it comes from.
Can I copy trades between accounts at different prop firms?
Atlas Funded, Blueberry Funded, Goat Funded Trader and Hola Prime prohibit copying to or from accounts at other firms or other traders. Check the “Copy across firms” column and the firm's own wording below before you connect accounts from more than one firm.
Is copy trading the same as account management or passing services?
No. Copying your own trades to your own accounts is a different thing from letting someone else trade your account or paying a service to pass an evaluation, which most firms ban. Copygram only copies trades between accounts you connect and control.
How often is this table updated?
Each row shows the date the firm's rules were last checked against its own website and help center; the latest check was on Oct 27, 2026. Firms change their rules, so confirm with the firm before you trade.
