Lucid rules

Does Lucid allow copy trading?

Copying between your own accounts Allowed

Trade copiers are explicitly permitted, provided all automated activity follows Lucid's rules, and the trader is responsible for any software errors. The help center does not spell out an own-accounts-only rule, but it bans hedging between different users' accounts. On live accounts, Lucid says copier-caused hedges still count as violations.

Third-party trade copiers Allowed

The rule permits trade copiers in general, with no restriction to built-in platform tools. The trader carries full responsibility for software errors, malfunctions or unintended outcomes.

Bots and automated trading Allowed, with limits

Automated trading systems are permitted but must comply with all Lucid rules. High-frequency trading is strictly prohibited, and so is microscalping. No difference between evaluation and funded accounts is stated.

Copying to or from other firms Not stated

Copying to or from other firms is not addressed. The hedging policy does explicitly ban hedging between different firms or funded platforms, and between different users' accounts.

Opposite positions across accounts Not allowed

All hedging is prohibited: across one user's accounts, between different users' accounts, and between different firms. This includes long/short on the same contract in separate accounts, mini against micro in separate accounts, and correlated assets (for example long ES and short NQ). Flagged accounts are reset, and repeat offenses lead to breach and a ban.

How it works

Copy trades to your Lucid accounts

Copygram connects Lucid accounts through Tradovate.

  1. 01

    Connect your Lucid accounts

Add each evaluation or funded account through Tradovate, using the login details Lucid gives you.

  2. 02

    Pick a signal source

Usually the account you trade by hand. Use alerts, signal channels or an AI agent only where Lucid's automation rules allow them.

  3. 03

    Create a Room

A Room links one signal source to one or more receiver accounts.

  4. 04

    Set receiver rules and start

Each receiver gets its own sizing, stops, symbol mapping and filters.

Receiver controls

Settings for each Lucid account

Each account in a Room has its own settings, so one signal can open different sizes, stops and symbols on each account.

  • Money management

Fixed lot or risk-based sizing for every copied trade.

Example Test a new source at a fixed 0.10 lot, then move to percentage-of-balance risk.

  • AI trade validation

Skip signals whose AI confidence score falls below your threshold.

Example A 60% threshold executes a signal scored 75% and skips one scored 45%.

  • Stop loss and take profit

Use the signal's levels, set your own, and decide whether to trade when a level is missing.

Example Refuse any trade that arrives without a stop loss.

  • Symbol mapping

Translate the source's symbol names to your platform's names.

Example GOLD in the signal becomes XAUUSD on your broker.

  • Symbol filters

Execute only listed symbols, or skip the ones you don't trade.

Example Copy EURUSD, GBPUSD and XAUUSD only.

  • Lot exceptions per symbol

A fixed size for specific symbols that overrides the general rule.

Example Gold always opens at 0.01 even when the default is 0.50.

  • Prefixes and suffixes

Detect or add broker symbol prefixes and suffixes automatically.

Example EURUSD becomes EURUSD.pro on a broker that uses the .pro suffix.

  • Copy closes and modifications

Choose whether exits and SL/TP changes from the source are mirrored.

Example Follow the entries, but manage your own exits.

  • Trading schedule

Limit each receiver to the days and hours you choose.

Example Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 22:00 UTC.
