Funded Futures Network Copy Trading Rules: The 5-Account Cap
Funded Futures Network caps copy trading at 5 accounts across all phases and bans third-party-controlled API access. See FFN's copying rules and limits.

Funded Futures Network (FFN) lets you copy trades across your own accounts, but never more than five FFN accounts at once, counting evaluations and funded accounts together. Going over the cap makes every copied account ineligible for funding. FFN also bans giving account access to any automated system or API controlled by a third party, which may cover hosted copiers. Rules checked on October 24, 2026, against FFN’s rules portal and FAQ.
What FFN says about copy trading
FFN’s copy trading rule sets a hard cap:
“You may copy-trade a maximum of 5 FFN accounts simultaneously, regardless of account type.”
Source: Article 7.1: Copy trading limits and rules, FFN
FFN counts a trade as copied when it’s entered or exited at the same time, on the same product, in the same direction, across accounts, whatever tool you use. The consequences are specific:
- Copying more than five accounts makes all of the copied accounts ineligible for funding, and they have to be reset.
- Running two copiers of five accounts each on similar products gets the accounts liquidated.
- Bots running the same strategy across accounts count toward the five-account limit too.
Third-party copiers and automation
FFN’s own platforms, Onyx and FundX, include trade copiers. Third-party copier software for your own accounts is neither explicitly approved nor banned. But FFN’s independent trading rules prohibit granting account access to:
“any automated system or API controlled by a third party rather than by you”
Source: 3.7 Independent trading rules, FFN
FFN also bans VPS environments managed by a third party, while allowing a VPS for your own solo use. A hosted copier run by another company could fall under either rule; FFN doesn’t say.
Automated trading is allowed at FFN’s discretion when it runs your own strategy on your own accounts. High-frequency bots are banned. For accounts bought or reset on or after October 22, 2026, profit from very short trades isn’t eligible for payout if more than 30% of a day’s trades are held five seconds or less. Hedging and copying with others
Hedging breaks FFN’s rules in the Evaluation, Exhibition and Funded stages. FFN defines it as holding a long and a short at the same time in the same product, including mini against micro, or across the ES and NQ family.
Copying another trader’s positions, or letting your trades be copied to accounts registered to other people, is prohibited as coordinated trading. Copying your own trades to an account at another firm isn’t addressed.
Account limits
| Account | Limit |
|---|---|
| Evaluations | No limit |
| Sim Funded accounts | Up to 5 active; a pass earned while you hold 5 waits in a queue |
| Accounts copy-traded at once | 5, across all phases |

Because the copy cap counts evaluations too, five funded accounts plus any evaluation on the same trades already breaks it.
Platforms, and where Copygram fits
FFN offers Onyx, a browser platform with TradingView charts and a built-in copy trader; Nexus Trader; FundX, its desktop platform with a built-in copier; MotiveWave; and EdgeProX on Rithmic. Source: Preferred platforms, FFN
Copygram doesn’t connect these platforms today, so it can’t be used with FFN. Onyx’s and FundX’s built-in copiers are the documented options.
Checklist before you copy at FFN
- Count every account on the same trades, evaluations included, and never go above five.
- Run one copier group at a time on similar products.
- Use FFN’s built-in copiers, or a tool you control yourself.
- Don’t give a third-party automated system, API or managed VPS access to your accounts.
- Keep every account in the same direction, including across ES and NQ.
- On accounts bought or reset from October 22, 2026, watch the five-second hold-time rule.
What we couldn’t confirm
- Whether FFN treats a third-party hosted copier as an automated system controlled by a third party.
- Whether the hedging definition applies across one trader’s separate accounts in so many words.
- Whether copying your own trades to an account at another firm is allowed.
FAQ
How many accounts can I copy at Funded Futures Network?
Five at a time, across evaluation and funded accounts combined. Going over makes all copied accounts ineligible for funding.
Can I use a third-party copier with FFN?
FFN doesn’t approve or ban one by name, but it prohibits giving account access to an automated system or API controlled by a third party. Use FFN’s built-in copiers, or ask FFN first.
Does Copygram work with Funded Futures Network?
Not today. Copygram doesn’t connect Onyx, Nexus, FundX, MotiveWave or EdgeProX accounts.
