FundingPips sells five account models: 1 Step Flex, 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Pro, 2 Step Flex and Zero. The four evaluation models have profit targets from 5% to 12% per phase, daily loss limits from 2% to 5% and static maximum loss limits from 6% to 12%. Zero has no evaluation and uses a 3% daily and a 5% trailing loss limit. No model has a time limit, but an account with no completed trade in 30 days is breached. FundingPips allows copying between your own accounts and from a FundingPips account out to an external one; copying into a FundingPips account from a third-party copier is banned. Rules checked on October 28, 2026, against FundingPips’ help center, trading objectives page and terms.

FundingPips rules at a glance

Model Profit target Daily loss Max loss Minimum trading days Reward splits
1 Step Flex 12% 2% or 3% 12%, static None Bi-weekly 80%, On Demand 100%
2 Step Standard 8%, then 5% 3% or 5% 10%, static 3 per phase with the 5% daily limit, none with 3% Weekly 60%, bi-weekly 80%, On Demand 100%
2 Step Pro 6%, then 6% 3% 6%, static None on accounts bought from August 26, 2026 Weekly 80%, On Demand 100%
2 Step Flex 10%, then 8% 4% 12%, static 1 (80% split) or 3 profitable days (95% split) Bi-weekly 80% or 95%, On Demand 100%
Zero None, no evaluation 3% 5%, trailing 7 profitable days every rolling 30 days Bi-weekly 95%
  • Account sizes: $5K to $100K on every model, plus $200K on 2 Step Pro and Zero.
  • Some choices are permanent. The 2 Step Flex split is locked for the life of the account, and the reward cycle can’t be changed once you pick it.
  • Older accounts may differ. FundingPips’ trading objectives page says its rules apply to new accounts bought after they went live, and several help pages keep older terms for existing accounts.

How the daily and maximum loss limits work

  • Daily loss: the starting point is your balance or equity at the start of the day, whichever is higher. Closed and floating losses both count, and the limit resets at 00:00 platform time (UTC+3). Profits made during the day don’t raise that day’s floor.
  • Maximum loss on the evaluation models: a static floor at the stated percentage below your starting balance. It never moves, even after you’re in profit.
  • Maximum loss on Zero: a 5% limit that trails your highest equity and stops at your starting balance once you’re 5% in profit. Zero also caps combined floating loss on open trades at 1% of the starting balance, and one trade idea at 3% below $50K or 2% from $50K.
  • Touching a limit is a breach, even for a moment and even if the trade later closes in profit. The account is locked and open trades are closed. A Monday gap through the maximum loss also counts.
  • Lot cap: 20 lots per trade, and 1 lot on crypto (stated in the 2 Step Standard rules).

Time limits, minimum days and inactivity

  • No time limit on any phase.
  • Inactivity: if you don’t open and fully close a trade within 30 calendar days, the account is breached. A trade left open doesn’t count.
  • Profit targets count only with every trade closed.
  • Minimum days: a trade of 0.01 lots counts toward them.
  • After you pass: the funded account (FundingPips calls it a Master Account) needs ID checks, a review of up to 2 working days, a signed contract and onboarding. Only one verified identity is allowed per trader.

Does FundingPips have a consistency rule?

Only on some reward cycles:

  • On Demand (100% split): no single trading day can make up more than 35% of your total profit, and you need at least 7 profitable days of 0.5% or more. On Demand accounts are also under the Striking System: a warning is recorded each time one trade idea’s loss reaches 1% of the account size. The second warning halves your split, the third cuts it to 20% and the fourth breaches the account. Warnings never reset.
  • Weekly and bi-weekly cycles: no consistency score.
  • Zero: your best day can’t exceed 15% of total profit. Going over blocks your reward until you’re back within 15%, but doesn’t close the account. The first 3% of profit can’t be withdrawn, and your largest losing trade must not exceed your largest winning trade.

FundingPips’ homepage says there’s no Striking System without naming a model, while the model pages apply it to On Demand. Check the page for the model you buy. Sources: 2 Step Standard, FundingPips Zero

News trading and weekend holding

  • Evaluation phases: you may hold trades through news, but deliberately trading news is prohibited in every phase. Overnight and weekend holding are allowed.
  • Funded accounts on the four evaluation models: profits from trades opened or closed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact news tagged as restricted may be deducted, on the affected currency only. Trades opened 5 hours or more before the event are exempt. Open trades are closed automatically every day in a 15-minute window, which isn’t a breach, unless you added Swing at purchase (a 10% add-on) to hold overnight and over weekends.
  • Zero: opening, closing or holding a trade within 10 minutes of restricted news is a hard breach, and FundingPips’ help pages say any position left open into the weekend ends the account.

Does FundingPips allow copy trading?

Yes, in two directions. FundingPips’ copy trading policy says:

“You are allowed to use a trade copier from your FundingPips account”

Source: Trading Conduct and Security Standards

  • Allowed: copying between your own FundingPips accounts registered to you, and using a FundingPips account as the master that copies out to an external account.
  • Banned: copying into a FundingPips account from an outside source, whether a signal provider or a copier service where the FundingPips account receives the trades. FundingPips treats it as third-party account management and closes the account. Copying between different people’s accounts and letting anyone trade for you are banned too.
  • Password: connect the FundingPips master to a copier with its investor (read-only) password. FundingPips says using the main password may trigger an investigation.
  • Hedging: copying the same direction across your own accounts is fine; opposing positions across accounts are banned.
  • Allocation: every evaluation and funded account you hold shares one $400K maximum.

FundingPips also has its own Trade Copier, in beta. The lead account must be a FundingPips account, followers can be FundingPips or external accounts, and up to 4 accounts per user can be connected on MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader. Source: FundingPips Trade Copier

One caution: FundingPips’ terms say copy trading by a third-party vendor ends the account, with no exception written for your own accounts. The help center is more specific, but get your setup confirmed in writing before you connect a funded account. Source: Terms and conditions

Can you use Copygram with FundingPips?

Only with the FundingPips account as the source. Copygram connects FundingPips’ MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader accounts, but not cTrader:

  • FundingPips MT5 as the source: connect it with the investor (read-only) password, which Copygram accepts for MT5 accounts that only send trades. Copygram then copies its trades to your own accounts at other brokers or prop firms, if their rules allow incoming copies.
  • Not as a receiver: Copygram placing trades on a FundingPips account would make it the receiving account, which FundingPips bans. That also rules out FundingPips Match-Trader accounts, because Copygram only copies into Match-Trader.
  • Between your own FundingPips accounts: use FundingPips’ own Trade Copier.
  • Ask about the connection first. Copygram connects from its own cloud servers, not from your device. FundingPips bans accessing your account through a VPN or VPS and checks that your login region stays consistent, and its rules don’t mention cloud copiers. Ask FundingPips support in writing whether a cloud connection on the investor password is accepted, and keep the answer.

The MetaTrader trade copier page explains the setup, and the prop firm rules table shows which firms accept incoming copies.

EAs and banned strategies

  • Third-party EAs: allowed only as a trade or risk manager, not to place all your trades. Using one to automate your trading gets the evaluation or reward denied and the account closed.
  • Your own EA: full automation is allowed if you can prove you wrote it, for example with source code or by explaining its logic on a call. A compiled file alone isn’t proof.
  • Exceptions: the 1K Instant account allows third-party EAs and copiers; the Monthly Competition bans all EAs.
  • Banned strategies: gap trading, high-frequency trading, server spamming, latency arbitrage, toxic trading flow, hedging, long-short and reverse arbitrage, tick scalping, server execution exploits, opposite account trading, and churning and burning.

Platforms, countries and leverage

  • Platforms: MetaTrader 5, cTrader and Match-Trader, with 41 instruments across forex, metals, indices, energies and crypto. Every account is in US dollars.
  • Countries: FundingPips doesn’t accept residents of Iran, Vietnam or the United Arab Emirates, and you must be 18 or older.
  • US and Canada: MT5 isn’t available in the United States and cTrader isn’t available to US residents or citizens. Match-Trader is open to US and Canadian residents.
  • Leverage on the evaluation models: forex 1:100, metals 1:30, energies 1:10, indices 1:20 and crypto 1:2 (1:1 on funded accounts). Zero: forex 1:50, metals, energies and indices 1:10, crypto 1:2.

Payouts, allocation and scaling

  • Reward cycles: weekly means 7 calendar days after your first funded trade, bi-weekly means every 14 calendar days. You pick the cycle once.
  • Requests: the minimum is 1% of the account size, all trades must be closed, and requests are processed in 1 to 3 working days. Methods include card, crypto (USDT or USDC on ERC20), Rise and bank transfer.
  • Fee refund: 2 Step Standard refunds the registration fee at your 4th reward.
  • Allocation and merging: one $400K maximum across all your evaluation and funded accounts. Funded accounts of the same model can be merged, except on Zero.
  • Scaling: FundingPips advertises up to $2M in Prime Capital, and every Prime Account has a static 8% maximum loss.

Where FundingPips’ own pages disagree

FundingPips’ pages contradict each other on a few rules. Where they do, follow the stricter one and ask support:

  • Daily reset: 00:00 UTC+3 on the help pages, midnight server time (CEST) in the terms.
  • 2 Step Flex Phase 2 target: 8% on the help and trading objectives pages, 6% in the terms.
  • Zero weekend holding: a breach on the help pages, while the trading objectives page says the Swing add-on allows it.
  • News: listed as allowed on the trading objectives page, banned when done on purpose in the help center, and forbidden in the terms.
  • Copy trading: allowed in the help center, while the terms ban copying by a third-party vendor.

FundingPips rules: questions

What are the main FundingPips rules?

Hit the profit target (5% to 12% depending on the model and phase) without touching the daily or maximum loss limit, complete a trade at least every 30 days, and avoid banned strategies such as hedging across accounts, latency arbitrage and deliberate news trading. There’s no time limit on any phase.

What is the FundingPips daily drawdown?

It’s 2% or 3% on 1 Step Flex, 3% or 5% on 2 Step Standard, 3% on 2 Step Pro and Zero, and 4% on 2 Step Flex. It’s measured from your balance or equity at the start of the day, whichever is higher, and floating losses count.

Does FundingPips allow copy trading?

Yes, between your own FundingPips accounts and from a FundingPips account out to an external account. Copying into a FundingPips account from an outside source, such as a signal provider or a third-party copier, is banned.

Can I use a trade copier on FundingPips?

Yes, with the FundingPips account as the master, connected with its investor (read-only) password, copying out to an external account. A copier can’t place trades on a FundingPips account. FundingPips’ own Trade Copier can copy between your FundingPips accounts.

Is news trading allowed on FundingPips?

Deliberate news trading is prohibited. On funded accounts, profits from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of restricted high-impact news may be deducted, and on Zero any trade within 10 minutes of restricted news is a breach.

Does FundingPips have a consistency rule?

Yes, on the On Demand 100% reward cycle: no single day can be more than 35% of total profit. Zero uses a 15% rule. The weekly and bi-weekly cycles have no consistency score.

Can I hold trades over the weekend with FundingPips?

Yes during the evaluation. Funded accounts close open trades every day unless you bought the Swing add-on, and FundingPips’ help pages say holding a Zero trade into the weekend ends the account.
