Tradeify Copy Trading Rules: Own Accounts, Same Direction
Tradeify allows copy trading between accounts you own, in the same direction, and permits third-party copiers at your own risk. See the rules and limits.

Tradeify allows copy trading between accounts you personally own and manage, with every account trading the same direction. Third-party trade copiers are allowed at your own risk, alongside Tradovate Group Trading and the WealthCharts Trade Copier. The main traps are hedging rules that cover whole product groups, and a bot policy that bans using the same bot across firms. Rules checked on October 24, 2026, against Tradeify’s own help center.
What Tradeify says about copy trading
Tradeify allows copying by any method, including Tradovate Group Trading and the WealthCharts Trade Copier, as long as every account involved is yours:
“you may only copy trades between accounts that you personally own and manage”

Every copied account must trade the same direction. Tradeify treats two copier mistakes as hedging: an inverted copier that opens the opposite side on followers, and followers left open after the lead account has been flattened.
Third-party copiers
Tradeify documents its built-in options, but doesn’t restrict you to them:
“If you choose to use third-party trade copiers, you do so at your own risk.”

Tradeify’s risk FAQ adds that you stay fully responsible for whatever any automation does on your accounts.
Bots and automation
Bots and algorithms are allowed on three conditions: you’re the sole owner of the strategy, it isn’t shared with other traders or firms, and it isn’t high-frequency trading. Tradeify may ask for proof of ownership, including a live video of you enabling the code on your computer.
The same guidelines say a bot can’t be used across multiple firms. Funded accounts also have a microscalping payout rule: more than half of your trades and profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds. Source: Guidelines for traders, Tradeify Help Center
Hedging and correlated products
Tradeify bans opposing positions in the same instrument or the same product group, for example ES against NQ, or a mini against a micro. The ban applies whether the positions sit in one account or are spread across several of your accounts, on Evaluation, Sim Funded and Elite Live accounts. All the accounts involved get flagged. Same-direction positions across accounts are explicitly allowed. Source: Hedging and correlated products, Tradeify Help Center
Copying with other people or firms
Copying from or to accounts owned by other people is strictly prohibited. Copying your own manual trades to an account at another firm isn’t addressed directly; only the bot policy speaks to multiple firms, and it forbids it.

Platforms, and where Copygram fits
Tradeify supports Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView through Tradovate, Rithmic with R|Trader, Tradesea, Quantower and Sierra Chart, and WealthCharts. Source: Supported platforms, Tradeify Help Center
Copygram connects Tradeify accounts issued on Tradovate; it doesn’t connect Rithmic or WealthCharts accounts. The Tradeify trade copier page shows the setup.
Checklist before you copy at Tradeify
- Copy only between accounts you personally own and manage.
- Set every follower to the same direction as the lead. Never invert.
- Flatten followers whenever the lead is flat, and check after every exit.
- Don’t hold opposite positions within a product group across accounts, such as ES against NQ.
- Stay within 5 Sim Funded accounts, or 8 with Select 300K.
- If you automate entries, make sure you own the strategy and can prove it, and don’t run the same bot at another firm.
What we couldn’t confirm
- Whether copying your own manual trades to an account at another firm is allowed.
- Whether Tradeify treats a third-party cloud copier as a “bot” subject to its ownership checks.
