Goat Funded Trader Copy Trading Rules: Only the GOAT Trade Copier
Goat Funded Trader allows copy trading only through its own GOAT Trade Copier and bans other copiers and VPS hosting. See its EA, hedging and allocation rules.

Since October 12, 2026, Goat Funded Trader allows copy trading only through its own GOAT Trade Copier in the Trader Dashboard. Every other trade copier, copy trading tool or copier EA is a prohibited trading practice, and since October 6, 2026 VPNs, VPSs and other hosting services are banned while trading. That means a third-party copier such as Copygram can’t be used on Goat Funded Trader accounts. Rules checked on October 27, 2026, against Goat Funded Trader’s help center.
An earlier version of this article explained how to pass a Goat Funded Trader challenge with Copygram. Those rules have changed, so we’ve rewritten it.
What Goat Funded Trader says about copy trading
- Its own copier only: you pick a lead account and the accounts that follow it, inside the Trader Dashboard. It copies between MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader and TradeLocker accounts.
- Cost: $2 per connected account per month, the lead account included, so copying starts at $4 a month.
- Outside accounts: copying trades in from an external account isn’t allowed, even if the account is yours.
- Other people: copying other traders, signal providers or trading groups is prohibited.
Why other trade copiers can’t be used
Goat Funded Trader’s trading rules put it plainly:
“using any other trade copier is a prohibited trading practice”

The ban covers copiers you’ve already paid for, and it may end the account. The separate ban on VPNs, VPSs and hosting services during trading also rules out copier EAs that run on a server.
Platforms
Goat Funded Trader offers MetaTrader 5, cTrader, Match-Trader, TradeLocker and Volumetrica. MT5 and cTrader aren’t available in the USA. Source: Platforms, Goat Funded Trader Help Center
EAs, hedging and allocation
- EAs: allowed only if you developed them yourself, and the firm may ask for proof such as the source code. Third-party, purchased and challenge-passing EAs are banned, and so are copier EAs. An EA that needs a VPS can’t be used.
- Hedging: banned outright, within one account, across your own accounts, across different traders’ accounts and against an account at another firm.
- Allocation: one registered profile per person, with up to $400,000 in simulated funded capital per trader.

If you use Copygram
Copygram can’t be part of a Goat Funded Trader setup while these rules stand: use the GOAT Trade Copier for copying between your Goat Funded Trader accounts. If you want to copy across accounts at different prop firms, start from firms whose rules allow third-party copiers. Our prop firm rules table quotes each firm’s own wording, and the MetaTrader and TradeLocker pages list the firms that offer each platform.
