Bulenox Copy Trading Rules: Only Copiers You Built Yourself
Bulenox permits trade copiers, but only tools you built for your own use. Commercial copiers need approval. See Bulenox's copying rules and account limits.

Bulenox permits bots, algorithms and trade copiers, but only user-built tools for the account owner’s personal use. Commercial, shared, rented or publicly distributed tools aren’t allowed, and its Terms of Use require Bulenox’s approval before you use any third-party trading technology. In practice, that rules out subscription copiers unless Bulenox approves them in writing. Rules checked on October 24, 2026, against Bulenox’s FAQ and Terms of Use.
What Bulenox says about copy trading
The Bulenox FAQ opens with a broad permission:
“Bots, algorithms and trade copiers are permitted.”
It then narrows it in the next line:
“Only user-built tools intended solely for the account owner’s personal use are permitted.”
Source: FAQ, Bulenox
So copying between your own Bulenox accounts is allowed, as long as the tool doing it is one you built for yourself.
Commercial and third-party copiers
The FAQ is explicit about the tools it excludes:
“Commercial, shared, rented or publicly distributed automation tools are not allowed.”
Bulenox’s Terms of Use add a separate requirement: any third-party algorithm, automated software or trading technology must be reviewed and approved by Bulenox management before use. Connecting to Rithmic through a third-party API or composite software costs an extra $100 a month, and Bulenox says paying that fee doesn’t count as approval.
Together, these rules mean a commercial trade copier, cloud or desktop, isn’t allowed at Bulenox unless management approves it first. The documents don’t say whether the approval route can override the FAQ’s ban on commercial tools.
Automation limits
User-built bots and algorithms for personal use are allowed. The Terms of Use ban abusive automation, including scalping algorithms, the DTC Protocol Bridge API and placing hundreds of rapid trades. Bulenox doesn’t describe different automation rules for qualification and funded accounts.
Hedging and copying with others
We didn’t find a hedging or counter-position rule in the Bulenox FAQ, help center or Terms of Use. That’s unusual among futures firms, and it isn’t a permission: keep your copied accounts in the same direction anyway, and ask Bulenox if you plan anything else.
Bulenox requires one profile and one Rithmic user ID per trader. Its documents don’t address copying to or from other people’s accounts, or accounts at other firms.
Account limits
| Account | Limit |
|---|---|
| Qualification accounts | Unlimited |
| Master-level accounts (Master, Fast Track, Momentum Master) | Up to 5 active, in any combination |
Master accounts are Bulenox’s simulated funded stage; eligible Master accounts can each move to a separate live Funded Account later. Bulenox doesn’t state a separate cap on live Funded Accounts. Source: FAQ, Bulenox
Platforms, and where Copygram fits
Bulenox runs on Rithmic, with R|Trader Pro, NinjaTrader (free license on Master accounts), Quantower, Sierra Chart, MultiCharts, ATAS, Bookmap and MotiveWave on top.
Copygram doesn’t connect Rithmic accounts, and as a commercial copier it falls under Bulenox’s ban unless Bulenox approves it. Copygram isn’t an option for Bulenox accounts today.
Checklist before you copy at Bulenox
- Use a copier you built yourself, for your own accounts only.
- Don’t use a commercial, shared or rented copier without written approval from Bulenox management.
- Remember that paying the $100 monthly third-party API fee isn’t approval.
- Stay within 5 Master-level accounts.
- Avoid scalping algorithms and bursts of rapid trades.
What we couldn’t confirm
- Whether a commercial copier can be approved through the Terms of Use review, given the FAQ’s ban on commercial tools.
- Any rule on hedging or opposite positions across accounts.
- Whether copying to or from other people’s accounts, or other firms, is allowed.
- A cap on live Funded Accounts beyond the 5 Master-level accounts.
