NINJATRADER AUTOMATION
HOW IT WORKS
What is a NinjaTrader trade copier?
A NinjaTrader trade copier routes trades from a source account to one or more receiver accounts. Copygram connects those accounts in a room and applies each receiver’s own symbol, sizing and trade-management settings.
Use a NinjaTrader account as the room’s source. Copy its trades to other NinjaTrader accounts or to Tradovate, MetaTrader, TradeLocker, OANDA, Binance Futures, MatchTrader and DXtrade.
Add NinjaTrader as a receiver in a room powered by another connected source. Configure that NinjaTrader account’s mapping, position sizing and management rules independently.

QUICK START
Set up your NinjaTrader trade copier
Connect the accounts, choose the copying direction, and set the rules that each receiver follows.
In Copygram, add a trading account and select NinjaTrader. Enter your NinjaTrader username and password; the Device ID is generated automatically. Copygram’s platform guide documents the connection through the official Tradovate API.

Add your other source or receiver accounts and give each connection a recognizable name. Organize demo and live accounts in the same workspace so you can select the exact accounts for each copying room.
Choose one source for the room and add your receivers. Select NinjaTrader as the source to copy its trades outward, or add NinjaTrader as a receiver to bring trades into that account. Each room has one source.

Map source symbols to destination instruments. Set position sizing and symbol-specific lot exceptions, then choose your stop-loss, take-profit, close, modification, filter and scheduling settings.
Activate the room to start copying. Track the source trade, Copygram activity log and receiver order, including the instrument, direction, quantity and trade updates. Manage each receiver from the same workflow.

RECEIVER CONTROLS
One source, different rules for every account
Shape the copying workflow around each destination account instead of repeating the same settings everywhere.
Choose fixed-size, multiplier, balance-based or risk-based sizing. Each receiver uses its own money-management settings.
Match the source symbol to the exact destination instrument. Apply prefixes, suffixes and explicit symbol mappings where names differ.
Use lot exceptions to define instrument-specific sizing rules. These exceptions take priority over the general money-management setting.
Configure how the receiver handles stop-loss and take-profit instructions. Keep protective-level behavior aligned with your trading workflow.
Use Copy Close Orders and Copy Modif Orders to decide which lifecycle actions the receiver follows from the source.
Choose the symbols and trading windows you want to copy. Monitor account activity and receiver actions in Copygram’s logs.
FUTURES SIZING
Map the instrument. Then set the size.
A symbol mapping selects the destination instrument. A sizing rule defines the quantity. Keep these two decisions separate when copying futures or connecting different platforms.
$50 / point
One ES contract has a $50 multiplier per index point.
$5 / point
One MES contract is one-tenth of the ES point value.
$50 / point
Ten MES contracts have the same combined point value as one ES contract.
The ES/MES comparison illustrates contract arithmetic, not an automatic sizing conversion or a suggested trade. Margin, fees and execution differ. Configure the receiver’s contract quantity or lot size using the destination instrument’s specifications.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
NinjaTrader trade copier FAQs
Answers about account roles, setup, futures sizing and day-to-day trade copying.
What is a NinjaTrader trade copier?
A NinjaTrader trade copier routes trades from a source account to one or more receiver accounts. Copygram organizes the connections in a room and applies each receiver’s symbol mapping, position sizing and trade-management rules.
Can NinjaTrader send and receive trades in Copygram?
Yes. NinjaTrader can be a sender or a receiver. Choose its role when you configure a room: select NinjaTrader as the source to copy trades outward, or add it as a receiver to copy trades into the account.
Which platforms can receive trades from NinjaTrader?
Copygram connects NinjaTrader to NinjaTrader, Tradovate, MetaTrader 4 and 5, TradeLocker, OANDA, Binance Futures, MatchTrader and DXtrade. Each receiver has independent symbol mapping, position sizing and trade-management settings.
How do I connect NinjaTrader to Copygram?
Add a trading account in Copygram and select NinjaTrader. Enter your NinjaTrader username and password. The Device ID is generated automatically. The Copygram platform guide documents this connection through the official Tradovate API.
Can I copy trades between multiple NinjaTrader accounts?
Yes. Use one NinjaTrader account as the source and add the other NinjaTrader accounts as receivers in a room, within your plan’s account allowance. Give every receiver its own sizing and management settings.
Can I use both demo and live accounts?
Yes. Copygram supports demo and live NinjaTrader accounts. Connect the accounts you want to use, select their role in the room and configure the settings for each receiver.
How many sources can one room have?
Each Copygram room has one source. Add one or more receivers within your plan’s allowance. Create separate rooms when you want to organize additional sources or copying directions.
Can each receiver use a different position size?
Yes. Each receiver has independent money-management settings, including fixed-size, multiplier, balance-based and risk-based sizing. Symbol-specific lot exceptions take priority over the general sizing setting.
How does symbol mapping work for NinjaTrader copying?
Symbol mapping connects the source symbol to the exact destination instrument. Configure the symbol name separately from position sizing. For futures, use the intended contract and expiry; for cross-platform copying, use the destination platform’s instrument identifier and specifications.
How should I size ES and MES contracts?
ES has a $50 value per index point and MES has a $5 value per index point. Ten MES contracts therefore have the same combined point value as one ES contract. This is contract arithmetic, not an automatic conversion rule. Set the receiver quantity using its instrument specifications.
Can the receiver follow closes and trade modifications?
Yes. Copygram provides Copy Close Orders and Copy Modif Orders controls. Configure these permissions for each receiver together with its stop-loss and take-profit behavior.
Can I choose which symbols and trading hours to copy?
Yes. Configure receiver symbol filters and schedules to define the instruments and trading windows used by your copying workflow. Keep the schedule aligned with the timezone and sessions you use.
How do I monitor copied trades?
Follow the source trade, the Copygram activity log and the receiver order. Review the instrument, direction, position size and subsequent trade updates for a clear view of the room’s activity.
Can NinjaTrader receive TradingView or Telegram signals?
Yes. Add NinjaTrader as a receiver in a room using a TradingView webhook or Telegram source. Configure the source connection, then set the NinjaTrader receiver’s symbol mapping, sizing and trade-management rules.
