How we research and write our pages

Traders use our prop firm rules, comparisons and guides to make decisions about real accounts. These are the rules we follow when we write them, and how to tell us when we get something wrong.

Who writes our pages

Blog posts, our guides and prop firm articles, are written and kept up to date by Tom Lin, Head of IT at Copygram, and each one carries his name. Product pages, comparisons and reviews are written and checked by the Copygram team. We write about the product we make, so read our comparisons knowing that.

Where our facts come from

  • Prop firm rules come only from the firm's own website, help center or terms. The rules table links every rule to the page it comes from.
  • Competitor facts, such as platforms, prices and trials, come only from that company's own website, pricing page or documentation.
  • Copygram's own facts, such as plans, prices and supported platforms, come from our billing catalogue and product documentation.
  • We don't use reviews, forums, affiliate sites or other comparison sites as a source for a fact.

Quotes, dates and gaps

  • Where a rule's exact wording matters, we quote it briefly, 15 words at most, and link the page it's from.
  • Every rules page and comparison shows the date we last checked it.
  • If we can't confirm something from an official page, we say “Not stated” and list it as an open question, instead of guessing.

Comparisons and alternatives

  • Each comparison says plainly where the other product is the better fit.
  • We don't rate or score competitors, and we don't add review or star-rating markup about them.
  • We name prop firms and competitors only to describe them. We aren't affiliated with them unless a page says so.
  • If a company tells us a fact about its product is out of date, we check its own pages and correct ours.

Numbers we publish

We publish a number only when we can source it or have measured it with a stated method. That's why our pages don't quote copy speeds or “number one” claims.

Updates

A page's “updated” date changes only for a real revision: a corrected fact, a changed rule or product behavior, or substantial new instructions. We don't change it for typos, layout or links.

Conflicts of interest

Copygram runs an affiliate program for its own subscriptions: affiliates earn a share of the subscriptions they refer.

Copygram doesn't receive money, discounts or referral fees from any prop firm, broker or trade copier named on this site.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help with research, to organise content and to create images for the blog. AI doesn't decide what we publish: facts still come only from the sources above, and blog posts are reviewed and kept up to date by Tom Lin, our Head of IT.

Corrections

If something on our site is wrong, email contact@copygram.app with the page and what's wrong. When a fact is wrong we fix it and update the page's date; on rules pages and comparisons, the check date shows when we last confirmed it.

Not advice

Nothing on copygram.app is investment, legal or financial advice. Prop firms change their rules often; confirm with the firm before you trade.
