FundedNext Copy Trading: CFD vs Futures Rules
Prop Firms
FundedNext CFDs restrict cloud copiers; Futures permits copying your own trades. Compare the policies and check where a Copygram connection may fit.
FundedNext has different copying policies for CFDs and Futures. Its CFD rules prohibit external cloud-based copier services, so Copygram should not be presented as an approved CFD setup. FundedNext Futures permits third-party tools for copying your own trades between your own accounts, subject to its rules. CFD policy and Futures policy.
This review was checked on September 30, 2026 and is published by Copygram. It examines public rules and connection requirements; it is not a firsthand evaluation or payout review. Start with the product named in your dashboard before choosing software or applying advice from another trader’s account.
FundedNext CFDs: limited challenge copying, no cloud copiers
The CFD policy permits copying between a trader’s own FundedNext Challenge Accounts, with combined capital of no more than $300,000 and one designated source. It prohibits copying involving a funded-stage FundedNext Account and separately prohibits external cloud copier services. Its limited VPS-copier allowance applies to the trader’s own Challenge Accounts. Detailed CFD copying restrictions.
Copygram is a cloud service. Being able to connect to MT4, MT5 or MatchTrader is therefore insufficient to make it suitable for these CFD accounts. Do not connect a CFD account on the assumption that owning both ends removes the software restriction.
A VPS is not a universal alternative
FundedNext’s separate VPS policy says VPS use is unavailable on account sizes of $50,000 and above. Below that size, it describes an additional usage fee and further conditions on access and EA use. These restrictions need to be read alongside the copier policy, not replaced by its shorter summary. VPS eligibility and conditions.
If an intended setup appears to fit one article but conflicts with another, ask FundedNext support to confirm the exact account size, purchase date, software and stage. Renaming a cloud workflow or changing where it connects does not establish permission.
FundedNext Futures: your own trades and accounts
The Futures policy permits copying within your own FundedNext accounts and between your own accounts at other firms. It allows third-party copying tools, while prohibiting other traders’ signals, coordinated group trading and copying another person’s account. FundedNext may request matching ownership verification. Futures copying conditions.
This is the potential Copygram use case to investigate. Keep a record of every source and receiver and confirm the account connection before subscribing. Other firms in the same route can impose additional restrictions, so permission at FundedNext does not automatically cover the source or another receiver.
Match the actual futures connection
FundedNext’s platform guidance lists Tradovate and NinjaTrader for Futures. A TradingView interface does not by itself identify the underlying account connection. Use the credentials and connection provider issued for the account. FundedNext’s product and platform distinctions.
Copygram supports Tradovate and NinjaTrader connections. Review the Tradovate copier guide or NinjaTrader copier guide with your actual account details. This review does not claim that we have completed an end-to-end test on your FundedNext account.
Do not carry CFD limits into a futures account
For example, the Stellar 2-Step CFD guide lists a 5% daily loss limit, 10% maximum loss and five trading days in each phase. It also distinguishes EA eligibility by account size. Those are conditions for that named CFD program, not a general FundedNext Futures rule table. Stellar 2-Step requirements.
For a futures setup, record the exact plan, account stage, permitted contracts, drawdown method and payout conditions from the corresponding Futures documentation. Before adding a receiver, check its current remaining loss allowance, not just the initial simulated balance.
As an illustration, two accounts can start at the same size but have $700 and $1,800 of remaining headroom after different trading results. Mirroring the same contract count does not give them the same chance of staying above their loss floors.
A connection checklist for an eligible Futures workflow
Confirm that the account is a Futures product and that every account belongs to you.
Identify the supported source and receiver connection, including the server or provider.
Check contract symbols, expiries, contract values and receiver sizing.
Verify entry, stop modification and close behavior before expanding the setup.
Monitor each receiver for rejected orders, partial fills and differences in open positions.
Recheck permissions and risk settings when a challenge becomes a funded-stage account.
The Copygram documentation covers connection setup. The order-error guide helps when the source and receiver disagree about what executed. Review actual positions before retrying an order.
Alternatives for multiple CFD funded accounts
FundedNext offers merging for eligible funded-stage accounts, with conditions concerning the challenge model, trading cycle, open positions and allocation. Challenge Accounts themselves are not eligible for merging. Ask its support team whether your accounts qualify. Official merging rules.
For a permitted and technically confirmed Futures workflow, compare the current Copygram plans. Copygram has no free trial. Its position-sizing settings do not enforce every firm rule, guarantee a payout or replace monitoring of account-level drawdown.
