What is a Telegram to NinjaTrader signal copier?
A Telegram to NinjaTrader signal copier reads trading instructions from a Telegram channel and routes them to a connected NinjaTrader futures account. Copygram combines AI text parsing with your instrument mapping, position sizing and trade-management controls.
Telegram is the source
Choose the channel whose trading messages you want to follow. Copygram reads structured signals and conversational text.
Copygram connects the workflow
Keep your channel, receivers and automation rules together in one room.
NinjaTrader receives the trades
Set the futures contracts and quantity for each account, with independent receiver settings.
QUICK START
How to copy Telegram signals to NinjaTrader
Connect your signal source and futures account, configure the receiver, and activate your Copygram room.
Connect Telegram in Copygram and select the channel you want to follow. Use a public or private channel you have access to. You do not need to build a bot or become the channel administrator.

Add a trading account and choose NinjaTrader. Enter your NinjaTrader username and password; the Device ID is generated automatically. Give the connection a clear name for your room.
Choose Telegram as the source, select your channel and add the NinjaTrader receiver. A room connects one source to one or more receivers. Organize separate signal sources in separate rooms.

Map the instrument to the exact futures contract and expiry. Choose whole-contract quantities, stops, targets and trade-management settings. Set your filters, schedule and market-price or signal-price entry mode.
Activate the room to start copying. Follow Telegram messages through Copygram’s signal logs to NinjaTrader orders and positions. Manage demo and live accounts with independent rules for every receiver.

FROM MESSAGE TO INSTRUCTION
Turn a Telegram signal into a defined trade
Copygram’s AI parser reads structured signals and conversational trading text. Your channel does not need one rigid message template.
ILLUSTRATIVE TEXT SIGNAL
An example of message interpretation, not a live trade or recommendation.
BUY → direction
The message identifies a buy instruction.
MES → instrument
Map this root to the receiver’s exact futures contract and expiry.
At market → entry
Use the receiver’s entry-mode settings to define market-price or signal-price behavior.
5990 → stop loss
The message supplies the requested stop level.
6020 → take profit
The message supplies the requested target level.
Quantity → your settings
The NinjaTrader receiver’s money-management rule defines the whole-contract quantity.
REPLY-BASED TRADE MANAGEMENT
Keep every update connected to its original signal
Copygram uses replies to the original Telegram signal to identify the trade for close, stop-loss and take-profit instructions.

Reply “Close”
Identify the original trade for a close instruction.
Reply “Move SL to breakeven”
Identify the trade for a stop-loss modification.
Reply with a new SL or TP
Attach the requested stop or target change to the original trade.
A symbol-wide close has a different scope
A standalone “Close MES” instruction targets all open trades for that symbol in the documented Telegram workflow. A reply identifies a specific original trade. Enable Copy Close Orders and Copy Modif Orders to have the receiver follow those updates.
FUTURES CONTRACTS & QUANTITY
Match the instrument. Set the whole-contract size.
Futures contracts have an instrument, expiry and contract value. Keep symbol mapping and receiver quantity as separate decisions.
Exact contract and expiry
Map the channel’s symbol to the full tradable contract on your NinjaTrader receiver. MES names the contract family; the expiry identifies the specific contract.
Independent receiver sizing
Set each NinjaTrader receiver’s intended whole number of contracts. Symbol-specific quantity exceptions take priority over the general sizing rule.
Whole-contract exits
Plan target allocations and partial exits in whole contracts. For example, a two-contract position can be allocated as one contract at each of two targets.
Micro E-mini S&P 500 · MES
One MES contract uses a $5 multiplier.
E-mini S&P 500 · ES
One ES contract uses a $50 multiplier.
Mapping ES to MES selects a different contract. Configure the receiver quantity separately to define the intended exposure. The contract values above describe product specifications, not a recommended position size.

Telegram to NinjaTrader FAQ
Answers about channel connections, futures contracts, receiver settings and Telegram trade updates.
Can I copy Telegram signals to NinjaTrader?
Yes. Copygram connects a Telegram channel to your NinjaTrader futures account. Connect Telegram, add NinjaTrader as a receiver, configure the futures symbols and contract quantities, and activate your room.
How do I connect Telegram to NinjaTrader with Copygram?
Connect your Telegram account and select the signal channel. Add your NinjaTrader account, then create a room with Telegram as the source and NinjaTrader as the receiver. Configure symbol mapping, whole-contract sizing and trade-management rules before activating the room.
Do I need a Telegram bot or channel administrator access?
No. You connect your Telegram account and select a channel you can access. You do not need to build a Telegram bot or become the channel administrator.
Can I use a private or paid Telegram channel?
Yes. You can select a private or paid channel that your connected Telegram account can access. Use a channel you are authorized to follow and whose signals you are permitted to use.
Do Telegram signals need a fixed message template?
No. Copygram’s AI parser reads structured signals and conversational trading text. Clear instructions identify the instrument, direction, entry and any stop-loss or take-profit levels.
What details do I use to connect NinjaTrader?
Choose NinjaTrader when adding a trading account, then enter your NinjaTrader username and password. The Device ID is generated automatically. Give the connection a clear name and select it as a receiver in your room.
How do I map Telegram symbols to NinjaTrader futures contracts?
Use symbol mapping to connect the instrument name in the signal to the exact NinjaTrader contract and expiry. A root such as MES identifies a contract family; the receiver mapping identifies the specific tradable contract.
Can each NinjaTrader receiver use a different contract quantity?
Yes. Every receiver has independent money-management settings. Set the intended whole number of futures contracts for each NinjaTrader account. Symbol-specific quantity exceptions take priority over the general sizing rule.
What is the difference between Market Price and Signal Price?
Market Price uses the current market price for the entry. Signal Price uses the entry price supplied by the Telegram signal, including pending-entry instructions. Choose the mode in the receiver settings to match your workflow.
How does Copygram identify the trade for a close or modification?
A reply to the original Telegram signal identifies the trade. Replies such as Close, Move SL to breakeven, or a new SL or TP level carry that trade context. The receiver’s Copy Close Orders and Copy Modif Orders settings determine whether it follows the update.
What does a standalone Close MES message mean?
In Copygram’s documented Telegram workflow, a standalone close instruction with a symbol targets all open trades for that symbol. Replying to an original signal identifies that specific trade instead.
How should I plan multiple targets and partial exits for futures?
Plan quantities and target allocations in whole contracts. For example, a two-contract position can be allocated as one contract for each of two targets. Set receiver quantities and trade-management rules to match the intended allocation.
Can I filter Telegram messages and set trading hours?
Yes. Copygram provides Telegram ignore-word filters, symbol filters and receiver trading schedules. Use them to define which messages and instruments belong in the workflow and when the receiver is active.
Can one Telegram channel send signals to multiple NinjaTrader accounts?
Yes. One Copygram room connects a source to one or more receivers, each with independent settings. Add your NinjaTrader accounts as receivers and choose the plan with the connected-account allowance for your setup.
Can I use demo and live NinjaTrader accounts?
Yes. Copygram works with demo and live NinjaTrader accounts. Connect the accounts you want to use, select them as receivers and configure each account’s futures contract quantities and copying rules.
