The workflow explained
What is a MetaTrader to DXtrade trade copier?
MT4 or MT5 supplies the account trade. Copygram applies your receiver rules. DXtrade receives the copied order.
A MetaTrader to DXtrade trade copier copies trades from an MT4 or MT5 sender account to a connected DXtrade receiver. Copygram links the accounts in a room and applies your symbol mapping, sizing and order controls to each copied trade.
Your MetaTrader account is the sender and DXtrade is the receiver. Manual trades and trades opened by an existing EA follow the same account-based workflow. Each account keeps its own balance and positions.
MT4, MT5 and existing EAs
Copy manual and EA trades from MT4 or MT5
Use the MetaTrader account you already trade. Copygram runs the copier in the cloud, while your existing EA keeps its own running environment.

MT4 and MT5 account copying
Connect either MetaTrader version as your sender. Copygram follows the trades on the account, including manual orders and trades placed through the MetaTrader mobile app.
No Copygram EA to install
Copygram connects the trading accounts and performs the copying in the cloud. You do not need to attach a Copygram Expert Advisor to a chart.
Keep your existing EA strategy
Your own EA can continue opening trades on MT4 or MT5. Copygram copies those account trades to DXtrade using your receiver’s mapping and position-size rules.
Keep the EA’s environment running
The EA runs in your MetaTrader environment on your computer or hosting. Copygram handles the account-to-account copying; your existing environment continues running the trading strategy.
Manual trades, mobile trades and existing EA-generated trades use the same connected-account workflow.
How it works · step by step
Connect MetaTrader to DXtrade in four steps
Connect your accounts, create a room, configure your receiver and activate copying.

01
1. Connect MetaTrader and DXtrade
Add your MT4 or MT5 account using the MetaTrader connection flow in Copygram. Add DXtrade with your username, password and broker domain, then select the receiving account.
02
2. Create your copying room
Create a room with your MetaTrader account as the sender. Add one or more DXtrade accounts as receivers. Give each receiver its own symbol mapping, position sizing and trade-management settings.

03
3. Configure mapping and receiver controls
Match the MetaTrader symbol to the exact DXtrade instrument, including broker prefixes or suffixes. Set receiver sizing, symbol-specific lot exceptions, stops, targets, close and modification controls, then choose your schedule.
04
4. Activate and follow your trades
Activate the room to start copying your demo or live account trades. Follow the source trade, Copygram log and DXtrade order from one workflow. An existing EA continues running in its own MetaTrader environment.

Symbol mapping
Map MT4 and MT5 symbols to DXtrade
Connect the exact source symbol to your broker’s destination instrument, including any naming prefixes or suffixes.
EURUSD.a and EURUSD illustrate broker naming differences. Use the actual identifiers from your connected accounts.
A worked example
Set the right DXtrade volume for each instrument
Use your receiver’s contract specifications and sizing rules to define the copied position. Gold shows why mapping and sizing work together.
Gold across two brokers: XAUUSD → XAUUSD
Source: MT4 or MT5 gold symbol
Receiver: DXtrade gold symbol
Independent receiver lot size
Broker-specific contract details
Contract size
Use the contract size shown for gold on each account. The symbol name identifies the market; the broker’s specification defines what one lot represents.
Value per lot
Set the receiver volume using the DXtrade instrument’s value per lot and your intended monetary exposure.
Sizing method
Choose your receiver sizing method and use a symbol-specific lot exception when gold needs its own volume rule.
Minimum volume and steps
Use the destination instrument’s minimum lot size and volume step when configuring the DXtrade receiver.
Quotes and protective prices
Set stop-loss and take-profit behavior using the destination quote, price increments and receiver controls.
Independent account exposure
Configure each receiving account’s volume for its balance and instrument specifications. One sender can feed receivers with different sizing rules.
Keep gold sizing explicit
The same XAUUSD label can have different contract specifications across brokers. Define the receiving volume from the DXtrade specification and your chosen sizing rule.
Separate symbol mapping from position size
Map the source gold symbol to the intended destination instrument, then configure its volume. Symbol matching and order sizing are two separate receiver settings.
Use your account’s actual gold specifications to configure mapping, sizing and protective orders.
DXtrade receiver controls
Control how each DXtrade receiver copies trades
Configure each receiver for its account and instrument. Use independent sizing, symbol rules and trade-management settings for accounts following the same MetaTrader sender.
Money management and symbol exceptions
Choose a receiver sizing method and symbol-specific lot exceptions. Each DXtrade receiver has independent volume settings based on your intended exposure and its broker’s instrument specifications.

Symbol filters and naming rules

Optional AI Trade Validation
If enabled, AI Trade Validation uses your confidence threshold to filter incoming instructions. Review skipped signals in the logs. A confidence score is not a probability of profit or proof that a trade meets a provider’s rules.

FAQ
MetaTrader to DXtrade: frequently asked questions
Answers about MT4, MT5, existing EAs, account connections and receiver controls.
Can I copy MT4 trades to DXtrade?
Yes. Connect your MT4 account as a Copygram sender and add DXtrade as a receiver in a room. Copygram copies the account’s trades using your symbol mapping, receiver sizing and trade-management settings. Demo and live accounts are supported.
Can I copy MT5 trades to DXtrade?
Yes. Add your MT5 account in Copygram, select it as the room’s sender and connect your DXtrade receiver. Configure mapping, sizing and order controls, then activate the room to copy account trades automatically.
Do I need to install a Copygram EA on MetaTrader?
No. Copygram connects your trading accounts and runs the copying workflow in the cloud. You do not need to install a Copygram Expert Advisor on an MT4 or MT5 chart.
Can Copygram copy trades from an existing MT4 or MT5 EA?
Yes. When your existing EA opens trades on the connected MetaTrader account, Copygram copies those account trades to DXtrade using your receiver settings. The EA stays in its own running MT4 or MT5 environment; Copygram handles the account-to-account copying.
Do I need a VPS or an open browser for copying?
Copygram’s cloud copier does not need your own VPS or an open browser. If an existing EA generates your source trades, keep that EA running in its MetaTrader environment, whether on your computer or hosting. Copygram copies the resulting account trades; it does not run the EA code.
How do I connect DXtrade, and what goes in the Domain field?
Add DXtrade in Copygram, enter your username, password and the broker’s DXtrade platform domain, then select the receiving account. Use the trading-platform domain supplied by your broker or prop firm in the format requested by Copygram.
How do I map symbols such as EURUSD.a to DXtrade?
Map the exact MetaTrader source symbol, including its prefix or suffix, to the exact DXtrade instrument. For example, EURUSD.a can map to EURUSD when those are the identifiers on your accounts. Configure the receiver position size separately.
How do I set lot sizes for forex and gold?
Choose your receiver sizing method and use symbol-specific lot exceptions for individual instruments. Use the DXtrade instrument’s contract size, value per lot, minimum volume and volume step. For gold such as XAUUSD, configure the receiver volume from its broker’s specification.
Can I copy stops, targets, closes and modifications?
Configure stop-loss and take-profit behavior in the receiver settings. Enable Copy Close Orders and Copy Modif Orders for the close and update actions you want DXtrade to follow. Each receiver has independent trade-management controls.
Can one MetaTrader account copy to several DXtrade accounts?
Yes. A Copygram room connects one MT4 or MT5 sender to one or more receivers, including multiple DXtrade accounts. Give each receiver its own mapping, sizing and order controls, and choose a plan that covers your connected accounts.
